How to choose a best car rental company

How to choose a best car rental company

by Steve Manik

When it is a matter of selecting a car rental company, there are many important points to remember. You would like to know that car is in good condition and will get you where you are going without any great difficulty occurring. The car rental firm which rents out the car is reliable and a company of reputation. The key is to make a correct choice and for doing that you will require information. Given below are some points which will guide you properly:

The first thing you have to know is terms and conditions on which cars for rent are available in your area. It applies for both viz., renting a car and renting a car service. If you rent a car service then the driver must be a good and sober person with valid driving license, and he should have a clean record.

Majority of car firms don't take cash deposit for renting out the car. This is because they want to be assured that they will get payment for services provided by them, therefore, they will prefer payment by credit card. As by your using a credit card they can make a credit check on you.

Another important point is the size of car which you would like to rent. This will depend to a large extent on number of people who are going along with you and your destination. If you have to cross rough areas you will need a tough vehicle, but if your journey is only on smoother roads a sleek car would be more suitable.

You should have a general idea in your mind about the amount you are willing to spend on rental fees. The cost differs from company to company; therefore, it is better to search before taking the final decision. If rates of two companies are similar then you should compare their services. Also know the models of cars each company has available.

The main points to be kept in mind while hiring a car are the rental period terms of using the vehicle, the daily rates, prepay, extra days, maximum and minimum rental period, gas policy, refunds, rental agreement and its extension terms.

Some people and families plan their business trips or vacations so well that they enjoy every moment of the tour. They plan their programs well in advance to avoid any last minute problems. They gather information regarding their travel, hotel accommodation local sightseeing and local conveyance either from internet or local travel agents; of the many arrangements to be made for the trip, renting a car is an important one.

After reaching your destination you are advised to search various local car rental companies. Local newspapers and telephone directories are good source of information for this purpose. After collecting data regarding different car rental companies you should compare their rates along with what services they are giving. In USA there are many well-known car hire companies, some of which offer their services throughout the USA. Their average price range is $189 to $249 depending on the type of car you wish to hire. So look around and after being satisfied as to terms and prices hire a car of your choice.

Enjoy the freedom of Birds - Rent a sports car

Enjoy the freedom of Birds - Rent a sports car

by Steve Manik

Have you ever driven an exotic sports car? Have you zipped by on the expressway in a foreign sports car feeling its raw power through steering, wheel and knowing that you are envy of everyone?

It is a great feeling and it is a feeling you can enjoy if you wish to. There are hundreds of places throughout the USA that rent out a sports car by the day or by the week. It will definitely cost a bit more than a Ford or Chevy but for the unforgettable experience of driving such a super piece of machinery it is well worth it, if for no other reason than showing to your friends and envious eyes of your neighbors, when they see that powerful beauty of a car parked in your driveway.

If you look around and search you will find a car rental firm that rents out sports cars. Finding a Corvette or a Mustang Mach 1 is probably very simple. But if you are going to do this then you should do it right. For example you can rent a Ferrari 348 Spider, Ferrari 355/360 (6 speed and F-1 paddle shift) Porsche Boxter, Viper GTS, Alfa Romeo a BMW 3 etc.

You just can't imagine what it would feel like driving one of these for a month or even a week. The streets of your hometown would be a new experience to you. You may think of taking that new customer to lunch in this jazzy car, or even better think of picking up your sweetheart and celebrating a special occasion with her in this powerful beauty. Remember may be its her birthday or an anniversary date of the first time you went out with her, the combination of the jazzy exotic sports car plus the importance of your remembering the date is going to get you many points.

Since it is a premium sports car rental agency the rentals of its cars are also premium. At many places they will deliver the car to your at airport or at your hotel make sure that you have reserved in advance so that you are able to get the model you want.

Another easy way of discovering car rental agencies which rent out your dream car is the internet. Start searching online and type the words like "Sport car rental your city" (Name of city). Depending on what you desire you will find it quickly. But in that too if you are looking for convertible Porsche it won't be that hard to find but if you are looking for Lamborghini Diablo it will take a little more searching. And if you look around hard enough you will discover that almost every sports model exotic car can be had-but for a price.

Now let it be very clear to you. This is serious luxury and luxury comes at high price. You may expect to pay several times more than what you would pay for a standard compact rental car. Although with these sports models they will deliver it to you at your hotel, home or office etc because when you pay high price you get high service. It's not cheap, but how many things worthwhile are cheap. Rent an exotic sports car, Live life like a king if only for a few days.

Always make your booking in advance, at least a week or two to pick -up. Making your booking early enough will enable you to choose the type of car that you want, and negotiate a better price for it. You can do this as soon as your travel plans are completed and confirmed by you.

Look out for deals and discounts, and preferably, make your booking online, so that you can take advantage of internet-only rates, where it is available. The Best Limousine Rental Car Features For Prom Night

The Best Limousine Rental Car Features For Prom Night

by Vanessa Arellano Doctor

limousine rental services are very popular, especially during the spring when most social events are being held, such as proms. Renting limousines for this type of event can help make the entire experience more special and more memorable, which can be attributed to the aura that limousines seem to radiate. limousines are known for their elegance and luxury, which is what people seem to associate to the quality and experience of the whole limousine ride. This is probably one of the main reasons why people are very drawn to limousines whenever they would see one drive by.

Since there are a lot of limousine rental companies out there offering different services and amenities, finding the best limousine rental car and service can be a difficult task, especially if you do not know much about limousine services. If you want to be able to get the most out of a limousine rental service for your prom night, then there are a few things that you must look into.

If you are planning on renting a limousine service for your prom, it is best if you first decide how many people that are going to be riding the limousine. One good feature that limousine rental services offer is that they have a wide array of different types and models of limousine cars available for their customers. If you are planning on bringing your friends along with you in your limousine ride, then you should probably choose a limousine car that can hold a large number of passengers in order to make sure that all of you will be accommodated. It is important to have enough leg room in the limousine to ensure that the dresses and suits that you and your friends, including your friends' dates, are wearing will remain clean.

Another nice feature that limousine rental services offer is that they can pick you up from your house, or from anywhere else that you prefer. This is the perfect time for you to plan the most efficient route for you to take in order to make sure that you do not spend too much time going back and forth when picking your friend up one at a time. This is also a great way to impress your date. Just imagine how your date would feel if you rolled up in front of their house in a limousine.

One thing that is great about limousine rental services is that they offer their customers a lot of different add-ons to their basic service, which is the car, a driver and beverages. Some of these add-ons can help get the whole prom night started even before you get to the venue. Certain limousine rental services offer dance floors, televisions, fog machines and a full bar in some of their other services. This can definitely make the ride to the prom a whole lot more fun, maybe even more fun than the prom itself. Just be prepared to shell out a considerable amount of money if you want to be able to enjoy these other services.

The limo ride from your house to the prom venue should be just as special and just as enjoyable as the prom itself. You can help make this a reality if you just put in some money on some of these nice features that the limousine rental service company offers.

Ways To Compare Limousine Rental Service

Ways To Compare Limousine Rental Service

by Vanessa Arellano Doctor

There are certain ways in which people can make certain events, such as weddings, proms, or even just a night out in the town, be more special and fun. One way of making your affair more memorable is through a limo ride. The aura and elegance that limousine rides exude can have an effect on how people may experience a particular occasion. It wouldn't hurt if you can make the ride to your destination a whole lot more enjoyable.

There are a lot of different limousine rental service companies out there, all of which offer their customers different services and amenities that go along with the limousine car. Usually, limousine rental service companies offer the same basic services, which comprises of the limousine car, the driver and some beverages. However, if you want to be able to make sure that the limousine rental service that you are getting is the one that offers you the best service for your money, then you need to learn and compare different limousine rental services in order to find the one that you believe will give you the most bang for your buck.

Before you can start comparing different limousine rental services with each other, you first need to set how much money you are willing to spend for a limousine rental service. This will help you narrow down the number of different limousine rental service companies out there that you can afford. Of course, the higher the price for a particular limousine service, then the more money you should have if you want to be able to avail of such service. It is important to remember that you will get what you paid for when it comes to limousine service, which means that if you choose a cheap limousine price, then expect to receive a cheap limousine service as well. This is the reason why you need to set a price range for your prospective limousine service, since cheaper limousine rental companies cannot offer you the same amenities and services that more expensive ones can.

The different amenities and add-ons that go along with the service is also an aspect of limousine rental services that is worth noting. If you have a price range in mind, then you should start asking about what different amenities and services will you be able to get from it. Expect that if your price range is a bit low, then you will not be able to get the more luxurious amenities and services offered to you, such as television screens and mini bars. If some limousine rental service companies offer you more than the other for the same price range, then you know that it is the better choice. Just make sure, however, that you check them out before you sign up with one. There are some who will try to offer you more amenities and services which are actually not of good quality, making you spend more on things that you cannot really use.

Aside from the amenities and services, another aspect of the service that you should consider is the car itself. There are a lot of limousine rental service companies out there that are using older models of cars instead of the newer ones. But of course, there are those that prefer the vintage look more over the newer models. If some companies offer newer models for the same price range, then you can bet that is the better choice.

These are just some of the ways that you can compare limousine rental services. Just keep in mind, however, that you should pick the ones that best suit your needs, and not just base your decision solely on the price of the service.

Hiring a car in Spain - is it worth it?

Hiring a car in Spain - is it worth it?

by Andrew Regan

Whether it's for environmental reasons or those of convenience, hiring a car to use as transport when on holiday may seem an unsuitable choice for some travellers. For others, it's the most convenient way to find transport between holiday locations, some of which may be out of the reach of the local transport system. Anyone going on holiday to Spain, for example, may find it simple to catch a train from Barcelona to Seville - but what if you wanted to explore some of the country's more out of the way areas, such as the Alpujarras mountainous district or the port of Cadiz?

If you are thinking about hiring a car on a holiday to Spain, you'll have to take into account some basic facts and figures. One of the main things to consider is how much you actually need the car: for example, in terms of budgeting, the basic rental would cost more than a train or bus ticket. Add to that amount the numerous petrol refills and road tolls you would come across if you used a car instead of the local transport and you've got a hefty transport bill right in your lap.

If you are going to rent car, would it be better to go through with the transaction when you're booking your holiday? Or would you rather walk up to one of the hire car counters desks you always see in airportswhen you arrive at your destination? Booking beforehand gives you a sense of security, knowing that once you get your luggage out of baggage reclaim you can walk up to the car counterhire desk, retrieve a set of car keys and drive out of the airport yourself.. Ordering on the day itself, on the other hand, can be problematic. There may be a queue for the car counter or you may not have the variety of car options made available to you had you booked online.

Another factor is the levels of traffic in Spain. Almost every major city in the world has problems with traffic and Spain is no exception. Mornings in Madrid are notorious for traffic build-ups and, with the added hassle of trying to find an empty parking space, then it might be prudent to say that car travel would not be an option available to all.

On the plus side, travelling in a car does have some major benefits. You don't have to plan your holiday itinerary to match those of the local buses or trains; and, as the luxury of air conditioning is common in most cars, this would be a godsend if the weather was 30 degrees Celsius with 90 percent humidity - as is often the case in Spain's most popular holiday locations. An added bonus would be the ability to retain your personal space and more within the comforts of your hired car, instead of travelling with fellow tourists or Spaniardsother passengers in a crammed bus or carriage.

So if your holiday in Spain consists of travelling in and around the major urban cities, then it would make sense to make use of the local transport system. However, if you're feeling adventurous, then rent a car and make your way to locations less frequented by tourists as car hire in Spain can be easily done either before, at the start of or during your holiday.

Driving tips in Greece

Driving tips in Greece

by Andy Burrows

Once arriving in Greece, many tourists opt to hire a car and set out alone. There's truly no better way to experience the countryside in Greece than from the comfort of your car and according to your own schedule. Crossing from the centralised and urban to the expansive countryside is like travelling backwards through time, and the road hazards of one area are often unlike those in another.

In Greece, the flow of traffic keeps to the right side of the road. Some of the basic driving regulations include an enforced seatbelt requirement for front-seat passengers only and a child safety-seat for any children less than 10 years of age. Children in these seats are also expected to be situated in the front seat. Visitors are advised not to use a cell phone while driving, as this is punishable by a stiff fine.

In the unfortunate event that you get in a car accident, you'll be glad that you brought along the standard emergency kit, including a fire extinguisher, first-aid kit and a red warning triangle. Finally, the drink driving limit is a blood alcohol level of 0.5mg/ml.

There are some peculiar traffic rules that are occasionally enforced in Greece, particularly in Athens. Due to unbearable congestion and extremely slow commutes, a system has been set up that only allows even-numbered and odd-numbered plates on alternating days.

The local traffic authorities have even been known to completely close the downtown streets to all traffic except for taxis. However, visitors don't need to wrack their brains trying to figure out which days they are allowed to drive on, exceptions to these rules are in force both for vehicles with foreign plates and rental cars. Greece lucrative car rental deals

If you're heading out of Athens or another principal city, you'll find that all of the inter-city highways are three lanes wide and subject to a modest toll. Once you reach your destination, take care that you don't park in a restricted area. You're not allowed to idle and wait in your car along yellow dotted lines and many of the street-side parking spots require a prepaid permit that you can pick up from a nearby booth. Regardless, all parking zones are clearly marked with signs displayed both Greek and English text.

Most visitors to Greece arrive in Athens first and then head out from here. As long as you're in a downtown area, you should have no trouble filling up on fuel at any time of day, as many of the pumps accept payment by credit card 24 hours. From Athens, travel time to Salonica is approximately 5 hours by car, covering a distance of just over 300 miles. Patras is closer at 130 miles, which can be reached in around 2 hours. Greece discounted vehicle hire

No matter where you are in Greece, it pays to practice a little caution. In rural areas, you never know when you'll come around a corner and find yourself face to face with a herd or flock of livestock or a local farmer hauling an old-style cart. The urban centres are notoriously crowded and peak rush hour times may find you white-knuckled and anxious to get out of town. Keep your chin up though, because the rewards that the Greek countryside offers make it all worthwhile. There's nothing like leading your own expedition into the ancient ruins and the wealth of attractions that make Greece such a one-of-a-kind place.

Driving tips in Denmark

Driving tips in Denmark

Denmark road network Denmark's road surfaces are of high quality and well maintained. There are only really three motorways but they cover the most important parts of the country well - with the E45 stretching from north-south on the mainland, the east-west E20 spanning the breadth of the country and the E47 serving Copenhagen, the capital. All other roads are numerically marked; highway 12 from Esbjerg to Viborg on the mainland, for instance.

It is free to drive on the motorways in Denmark; however, hefty tolls are levied on the main Great Belt Bridge and the section from Copenhagen to Malmo, Sweden.

Parking Parking in the main cities can be a bit strict. Denmark holiday accommodation For example, you are only permitted to park on Copenhagen's streets for one hour after purchasing a parking disc, available from petrol stations, banks, post offices and tourist offices. Discs must be clearly displayed on the dashboard area. Failure to comply will often end up with your car being towed and impounded. Other towns offer parking meters that allow up to three hours of parking.

Denmark road rules The minimum age to drive in Denmark is 18 years and drivers must have their full, valid license and insurance documents with them at all times - persons renting cars should keep their rental documents in the car while travelling. As with most of the rest of Europe, Denmark drives on the right and all passengers must wear seatbelts, even in the rear if the car is so fitted.

Traffic laws are strictly enforced and usually lead to fines. For speeding, for example, drivers caught going 50 per cent over the speed limit may be fined the equivalent of one month's salary, while drivers doubling the limit can expect to lose their licence for seven years. Although these restrictions mainly apply to Danish nationals, penalties are similar for non-nationals. Drink driving penalties are also severe and the maximum blood alcohol content level is just 0.5mg/ml.

Drivers bringing their own cars into Denmark should also be aware that it is mandatory that you carry a red warning triangle in case of breakdown, your registration plate is of the new Euro variety displaying the international registration letters of your country of residence and right-hand drive cars have headlamp deflectors fitted to their headlights. Denmark speed limits

Urban areas: 50kph/31mph Rural roads: 80kph/50mph Motorway: 110kph/68mph

Speed limits are strictly enforced in Denmark and hefty fines are the norm.

Denmark fuel costs

Prices in krone (KR) per litre:

Unleaded 95: 10.35 kr/l Unleaded 98: 10.64 kr/l Diesel: 8.65 kr/l

Lead replacement fuel is also available and is slightly cheaper then unleaded.

Denmark road safety Even though Denmark's roads are very good and the statistics for traffic accidents are considerably less than other countries in Europe, accidents nevertheless do happen and remaining vigilant while driving, particularly near Copenhagen, is recommended. Many cities have lanes reserved for cyclists and drivers should take extra care when bikes are about.

All motorways have emergency telephones at regular intervals and if you should breakdown, call Falck (the national breakdown service) on 112, available 24 hours. Police, ambulance and fire services are also available on this number. The Danish motoring organisation Forenede Danske Motorejere (FDM) can provide sound mechanical and legal assistance.

Tips for Hassle Free Car Rental

Tips for Hassle Free Car Rental

by Greg Chapman

Summer is the season for travel, and for many people that means booking flights, rental cars and hotels in far off places. Planning ahead and asking the right questions can help you avoid transportation headaches when you should be enjoying your much needed vacation. These tips for car rental can help make your vacation travel more affordable and devoid of unnecessary hassles.

-Make reservations early. Like airline tickets, the price of car rentals can increase as travel dates grow near and vehicle availability decreases. Especially during peak travel season, such as summertime, reserving a rental vehicle in advance can save you money and give you peace of mind that the vehicle will be available when you need it. Also, ask about the company's cancellation policy at the time you make your reservation so that you will not be surprised later by owing undisclosed fees.

-Compare rates online. Shopping around for the best price and availability of the vehicle you prefer is the best way to get what you want. To avoid wasting too much time calling around, seek reputable websites that do the work for you. Good comparison sites allow you to see the rates and other details about different companies, and can save you both time and money. Make sure to take advantage of any online discounts that are offered.

-Seek a company that can accommodate your schedule. Make sure to find out the hours of operation for the rental company you are dealing with. Many are not open 24 hours, and you will probably need to be able to pick up and return the rental vehicle during a designated time frame. If you are flying and renting a car at your destination, check your arrival and departure times to ensure that the rental company will be open at the time of day that makes sense for your travel plans.

-Cover your bases. Upon picking up your vehicle, perform a thorough inspection with the rental agent, and make note on the contract of any existing damage. This precautionary measure will alleviate you from responsibility for damage to the vehicle that you did not cause.

-Comply with mileage restrictions. It is in your best interest to read the fine print of your contract to avoid surprises upon returning the vehicle. For instance, many contracts contain restrictions on the number of miles permitted with your contract as well as stipulations like a requirement to stay within the state. Failure to comply with your contract can result in extraneous charges or can negate the insurance coverage should something happen to the vehicle.

Why Car Rental Companies Insist On Credit Cards For Obtaining Reservations

Why Car Rental Companies Insist On Credit Cards For Obtaining Reservations

by Amy Nutt

If you have ever rented a car, regardless of how you planned to pay for the actual rental, the car rental company probably asked you for a major credit card. It is standard practice for most car rental companies to require their customers to provide a major credit card at the time of rental.

Beyond simply asking for your major credit card information, most car rental companies will obtain a credit card authorization and advance charge approval to cover expenses related to any potential damages to the car while it is in your possession. In essence, your major credit card is held as a security deposit against loss or damage.

If you turn back the car in perfect condition, nothing will be charged to your credit card except for the rental fee. However, if the car is damaged while it is in your possession, your credit card will immediately be charged with an appropriate fee based on the terms of your rental agreement.

The rental company will not actually charge a fee to your card at the time you rent the car. However, by obtaining an advance charge approval, the rental car company in essence reserves a certain amount of room on your card for charges they might have to make in the event the car is damaged while in your possession.

Keep in mind that all plastic is not created equal. When it comes to renting a car, there is a big difference between a credit card and a check card or debit card. Many car rental companies will not accept check cards or debit cards for rental car security deposits. Rental companies cannot process advance charge approvals against debit or check cards, and so do not accept such cards for security deposit payments.

Before letting you complete the car rental transaction, the rental company will get permission from you to charge your card if something does happen to the car while you have it. Additionally, the rental car company will verify that there is sufficient room under your credit limit cap on the card to cover the amount required for a security deposit.

Also keep in mind that car rental companies won't just take any credit card. When you rent a car, you don't need just any major credit card. You need your major credit card. The person whose name appears on the credit card has to be listed as an authorized driver on the rental agreement and the person has to be present at the time the car is rented. In other words, you can't borrow your friend's credit card to use for the security deposit on a rent a car.

6 Tips On How To Choose A Rental Car

6 Tips On How To Choose A Rental Car

by Barry Allen

Renting a car can lead to confusion as there are so many options such as booking online, choosing a car rental firm, selecting a car, should there be a baby seat and so on. These days there are several websites that are platforms that bring together leaders in the car rental business like Hertz and the consumer. One can fill a simple form and get quotes from 3-5 firms and this will allow you to not just compare prices but what each firm offers as part of the service.

To rent a car hassle free, keep in mind:

1. That you must know what you need and how much you are willing to spend. Learn what commonly used vehicle classification systems are and what is meant by the terms "compact, mid-size, luxury and so on."

2. Always check car rental sites and web directories for "specials" , many companies have schemes for long term use, weeklong specials, and week end deals. These specials are meant to give a price break or discount on rentals. Check what promotions are current and what these deals include. Also many car rental firms offer discounts for early bookings.

3. Read through the offer document carefully and check if there will be charges over and above the rate for: collision damage waiver fees; a deposit or refundable charge; airport surcharge; drop off/collection charges; fuel charges; mileage fees; taxes; additional driver fees; equipment rental fees and so on.

4. Find out whether the car rental firm computes costs based on unlimited mileage; additional charge per mile; free miles with pre-imposed limits.

5. Check whether your auto insurance covers car rentals. If not does your credit card provide coverage or will you need to avail of auto insurance from the car rental firm?

6. Check what documents the car rental firm will need and ensure that all documentation is complete well before your departure date.

Be sure to ask for a confirmation in writing of your booking and find out what their 24/7 contact numbers are. Ensure that you protect your rights by finding out about who is responsible for fuel repairs and so on.

Before renting a car check whether the firm you are renting from has a good track record and whether they are renowned for good customer service. Check with the American Society of Travel agents site for tips on renting a car safely: http://www.astanet.com/travel/cartips.asp .

And according to the gurus of travel you must always insist on checking the rental car for any damage before taking possession of the vehicle and before returning the vehicle to the company after your use. This small exercise will prevent difference of opinion and trouble at a later date.

History Of The Limousine Rental Service In The U.S.

History Of The Limousine Rental Service In The U.S.

by Vanessa Arellano Doctor

There is a variety of limousine rental services all around the U.S., each one offering different services for its customers. Majority of the people who avail of their services usually use the limousine service for weddings or proms, which are mostly done during the spring season. Most limousine rental service companies offer a variety of limousine models, ranging from newer models to vintage-looking older models.

Each limousine rental company also offer a variety of amenities to go along their limousine cars, ranging from the standard limousine, driver and beverages, to specific additions, such as body modification for the limousine, television sets, and other specifications made by the customer. Of course, the more additions and amenities that the limousine has, then the more pricy the service would be, so prepare to shell out a considerable amount of cash if you want to get a very luxurious limousine ride.

Although limousine rental services are beginning to become very common nowadays, not a lot of people know exactly how they came about. Limousines nowadays have incorporated newer models of cars and have transformed them into limousine-type vehicles, just so their customers can have a wide array of choices of limousines to fit the customer's preferences and needs. Limousines, which is basically defined as a stretched luxury car that is driven by a chauffeur, bears a profile that is similar to the hoods that people in the French Limousine region wore, which is where the term limousine was derived from.

The limousines that we have today are actually based on a stretched-out version of big sedans. These limousines are characterized by a sliding glass window that goes between the passenger and driver in order to give the passenger the privacy that he or she may want. These stretched-out sedans have actually two rows of seats and room to accommodate rear passengers. Early versions of limousines placed the rear seats facing forward towards the driver, offering more leg room for the passenger, while another row of seats facing the rear seat is placed behind the driver's seat. This allows people to have face-to-face conversations with the other passengers in the limousine while maintaining enough room for everyone to not feel constricted. When the seats behind the driver are not needed, those can be folded up in order to remove the unnecessary bulk that can eat up the space in the car.

Limousines have also taken aspects of horse-drawn stagecoaches in their design, which was used for carrying a large number of passengers as well, incorporating certain features into their service and design in order to progress into much better limousine transportation service providers, such as the ones that we have today.

Limousines nowadays do not necessarily follow the same structure, but have features that are very reminiscent of the older versions of limousines. The newer models still have the same seating arrangement in the back, but add another row of seats lining the side of the limousine, facing the side window. This allows for more seating capacity, but sacrifices much of the leg room in the car. These new additions are usually used on those limousines that are capable of handling a high capacity of people.

Modern day limousine rental services have evolved, adding newer models and a whole lot more amenities in their list of services, all for the benefit and advantage of their customers.

How To Review Limousine Rental Services

How To Review Limousine Rental Services

by Vanessa Arellano Doctor

Getting the best limousine rental service is one of the things that people would want to do, especially if they are spending a lot of money on one. Everyone who wants to avail of limousine rental services is not just doing it so they can ride in a limousine, but they want to make a particular event more special, which is what a limousine service can help do.

People hire limousine rental services for a lot of reasons, be it weddings or proms, all of which are events that people would want to remember and make special. Unfortunately, not all limousine rental services are able to do that, especially since there are a lot of limousine services out there that are not of good quality.

This is why people need to be able to review the type of limousine service that they are planning on getting in order to make sure that they are getting a quality limousine rental service. There are certain factors and elements that people can look into to ensure that the type of limousine rental service that they are getting is worth their money.

One way of being able to review the quality of limousine rental service that you are getting is by looking at resources about the different limousine rental services that you are interested in. You can use yellow pages, local newspapers and even special event publications and online sites as your resources since they offer a decent amount of information about the limousine service. Just keep in mind, however that not all large and impressive publications and web sites contain the best quality limousine services and rental deals.

Once you have found some prospective companies, you should start asking about certain features of the limousine service that they provide, just so you can get an idea of what you are getting for your money. Make sure that you ask about the types of limousines that they have available and how many their units are in their fleet of limousines. This is important so you can check if they have the type of limousine that you need, and if they have extra cars for you just in case the one that you are renting breaks down at some point during your trip.

This will also help you determine the price since different types of limousine actually vary in price, depending on their make, year and model. The newer the models are, the more expensive they will be, especially if they are from well-known car manufacturers.

You should also ask about the services that they offer, since this will also be a factor on the price of the entire limousine service that you are paying for. There are certain limousine services that offer bar or champagne service, while others does not. Some even allow their customers to post "just married" signs on the limousine without any added cost.

Although more expensive limousine rental services appear to be of very high quality, not all of them actually offer you the best reliable service that you can get from your money, which is why it is important for you to actually take the time to check the different limousine companies and review the quality of the services that they offer.

Renting the services of a Limousine rental service is becoming more popular with a lot of people nowadays, whether it is for a wedding, prom night, or even just for a date. Since most limousine rental services are not that cheap, it is important for people who do intend to rent one to get the most out of their money, especially if you are shelling out a lot of cash for it. There are certain things that you need to look out for in order to get the most bang for your buck.

One thing that you need to do initially is to determine what event you may want to rent the limousine for. This may help you figure out how much time you will be renting the limousine, and will help you decide how you are going to make use of the car for the duration that you intend to use it for.

Be sure that you plan your details for the event, and figure out what you are looking for from the limousine rental service so they can provide you with what you need, like the number of people for example. If you intend on accommodating a lot of people in the limousine, then make sure that you choose the right size of the limousine since the number of people can affect what type of vehicle you will be using.

Once you have prepared the necessary details, you now need to focus on the limousine itself, so make sure that you choose the right one for the event that you need it for. Make sure that you check the car's model, year and make. This may help you determine if the amount that you are paying is worth what you are getting. Although some people would prefer an old model limousine, others are still very much into the latest models of limousines available.

Also check if the limousine is insured as a limousine for hire. You can do so by with the Department of Motor Vehicle if the limousine that you are hiring is licensed as a limousine for hire. This will help ensure that in the event of an accident, the limousine is insured with liability coverage for the damages that it may sustain.

Another thing that you need to do is check the limousine service, which may vary depending on the price level of the limousine rental, but the basic limousine service includes the limousine, the driver and beverages which may range from alcoholic to non-alcoholic drinks. Make sure that the driver that is assigned to drive your hired limousine is wearing a uniform, and not just some casual clothes. This will ruin the elegance of the whole limousine ride. Also, the driver should already be well-informed of the routes that he or she may take in order to get to your desired destination without any delays.

You can even ask for added amenities to fully add to your whole limousine experience and make it more special. However, the best thing that you can do in order to get the most out of your limousine rental service is to compare the different limousine rental services out there, their rates and features, and find the one that best suites your needs and that best fits the event that you intend it for.

Free Rental Insurance

Free Rental Insurance

When you need to rent a car, one of the most important things to do is make sure you have insurance. In the event of a theft or an accident in which the vehicle is written off, you must cover the excess value of the vehicle. This can amount to several thousands of dollars that will be added to your rental bill!

Some credit card companies offer special plans when you use their cards to pay for rental vehicles. One of these plans is the Damage Waiver Benefit, and it provides extra coverage for your rental vehicle. The Damage Waiver Benefit is designed specifically to aid you in the event of theft or an accident involving your rental car. The cost of the coverage is waived for all cardholders provided they meet a general set of conditions. This excess coverage means that you're insured in the event that your rental vehicle is stolen or the car is in a bad accident. This may also cover the public liability portion of the accident and insurance as well. The coverage is for the policyholder who is usually also the renter and driver of the car. These optional waivers can be purchased to reduce or eliminate any financial exposure you may encounter, including the entire value of the vehicle and all rental revenue lost during its replacement period.

Some car clubs and driver associations also offer this form of extra coverage to their members, but this coverage isn't free of charge. For an annual fee, which varies among companies, the same level of extra protection can be enjoyed. This offers peace of mind to occasional and frequent car renters alike. They advertise that the cost of the annual premium can be saved in a single month's rental, but not everyone rents cars by the month. This is an excellent plan for those people and businesses that rent several vehicles at a time or many in a month. The extra coverage ensures that there will be no surprises when it comes time to pay the rental fee.

Many plans also offer coverage for a locksmith, should you lock yourself out of your vehicle. The usual towing charges to the nearest repair facility are also generally covered by these plans.

Some plans have stipulations as to the how long the vehicle will be rented. Most will not pay for coverage after thirty consecutive days of rental, and most passenger cars, minivans, and sport utility vehicles are covered, but some restrictions apply. Luxury, exotic, and antique automobiles and some types of vans and vehicles with open cargo beds are generally not covered under this sort of plan.

If you're looking to rent a vehicle for a weekend or longer, here are a few things you should plan for: Many car rental agencies offer their services online and pass special rates on to customers who choose to rent in this manner. Your travel agent can help you in finding which of these agencies is right for you. Some specialize in economical, compact cars while others feature sedans and even sport utility vehicles for those who like adventure.

While many agencies welcome walk-in customers, most ask that you make a reservation for the best selection of models suited for you. If you're six feet tall, you'll want to call ahead and make sure they have something larger than a compact vehicle.

The yellow pages have a large assortment of rental car agencies, and each is listed with special customer features and the models of the cars they specialize in. Some rental agencies also offer a very convenient customer pick-up service. If you're going to be picking up the car yourself however, try to co-ordinate your car pick-up and return times, so you won't be charged for an extra day.

If you're only going to be driving a few miles, you may save money by opting for a rental with a mileage cap, which is usually 150 miles. However, unlimited mileage rates offer you more freedom. Your choice will depend on the type of holiday you are on, or the business you'll be doing on your trip.

The number of people driving the car may also boost your rental cost. Most agencies have extra fees for additional drivers, and if the extra driver is under 21, the cost may rise yet again.

No agency will rent you a vehicle if you can't produce your driver's license or a credit card, and if you appear unfit to drive, forget about getting a car from them! Be careful about violating your car rental agreement by driving while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs. Most agencies will consider criminal charges if they find out about such behavior while their vehicle is being driven. Remember to familiarize yourself with all of the terms and conditions of the rental agreement, including what could possibly void your insurance coverage. As the renter, you are liable for all parking and moving traffic violations, both domestic and international, so please drive safely and observe all ordinances.

As a general rule, a major credit card is required at the time of rental, while prepaid credit cards, gift cards and debit/check cards are accepted for payment at the end of the rental.

In many cases, renting a car for a full week is more affordable than renting one for five days, so think about a weekend rental to save money. Should you require child seats, you should book them in advance, because they may charge a fee for each seat. Check out the state or country you will be driving in for more information about child restraint regulations.

The Best Limousine Rental Car Models For Weddings

The Best Limousine Rental Car Models For Weddings

by Vanessa Arellano Doctor

Weddings are one of the more memorable experiences that any person can experience. It is one of those events that require a lot of preparation and planning in order to get the whole experience to be very special. Although the wedding has a lot of aspects that people mostly focus on when they are preparing for it, one of the more subtle but important aspect in a wedding is the car that the newlywed couple would be riding in after the wedding.

Limousines are one of the best, and common, choices for transportation for weddings, or other special events. Limousines have the ability to make an event, especially weddings, more fun, exciting and memorable. One of the reasons may be that limousine transportation is not something that people are able to enjoy everyday, which is why a lot of people find limousines very extravagant and lavish, which helps make the whole wedding event more special.

There are a lot of limousine rental car models that people who are planning weddings can choose from. There are stretched limousines that can hold a number of passengers, while there are others which can only hold a few. Other limousine rental car models are new models of cars, while others maintain their classic limousine cars, which are sometimes much better to use than the new ones, all depending on the preference of the people in the wedding. Their choice will boil down to the limousine's functionality, as well as its look.

One of the best types of limousine rental car models that are used in weddings in terms of functionality are classic cars. These classic cars allows the couple to stand out from all the other weddings, since most wedding usually use the standard limousine. Also, classic cars do not have the amenities that most new model limousines have nowadays.

These added amenities are not important for most couples since they may not necessarily use them during the wedding day anyway. One downside to this type of limousine car model, however, is that it can only hold up to four passengers, which is usually only good for the newlywed couple. If you want to include the entire bridal party in the limousine, then you should opt to use the standard limousines, which can hold a number of people.

In terms of look, white limousines are always the more popular choice. People tend to associate the white colored limousines to weddings, which is appropriate for the event. They see white limousines as a luxury that they may not be able to experience again for a period of time, which is why they want to use white limousines since it makes the whole event even more special. These white limousines also create a coordinated look with the whole wedding theme, as well as the bride, making it more appropriate for the event. It is also easier to decorate with flowers to match the wedding colors, making it a beautiful contrast to the other colors in the wedding.

Although white bridal limousine cars are so cliché to some couples, there are those that seem to like to follow traditional style of weddings. Ultimately, it is always the choice of the couple. Since there are a lot of other types of limousine car models out there, each couple will be able to find the type of limousine that will best suit their needs for their wedding.

Picking The Right Rental Car Company

Picking The Right Rental Car Company

Are you looking to hire a car for your next vacation or business trip? Remember to rent from a well-known outlet that offers a wide selection of models ranging from fuel-efficient compacts, up to roomy (but gas-guzzling) Sport Utility Vehicles. Check for comfort options like air conditioning, power steering and automatic transmission. Some rental agencies offer services such as roadside assistance and locksmith calling as part of their rental packages, and these features can make or break your vacation.

It's important to ask a lot of questions and find out as much as you can before making reservations to rent a car from any agency. Booking your rental long in advance will ensure that you get a discount of some sort for your rental. This will also help you to have the widest selection of models, especially during peak holiday rental times. Most rental vehicles come with at least AM/FM radios and many also have CD players. Some even sport MP3 player input jacks so you can play your favorite downloaded songs on your trip. Another thing to remember is if you're not familiar with manual gearing, don't try and learn 'stick shift' on the road. You'll only end up with more stress than you bargained for and you may end up in an accident.

Think long and hard about the time you may be spending in the vehicle and how much space you will need for yourself, your passengers and your luggage. You can then make your choice based on comfort and not just price. If you end up jammed into a vehicle that is smaller than you planned on, it could really spoil your holiday. Even though it may cost less to rent a smaller vehicle, it won't be worth it if there's little or no comfort for you and your passengers. For example, compact cars may save you fuel, but if you're six feet tall, they would kill your knees, especially if you're driving a long way. If you don't like the model that you reserved, talk to the rental agency staff. They will try to get you into a car that's more suitable for you. However, there may be an extra fee to pay if you choose to upgrade to a larger vehicle.

If you book your rental vehicle directly online, you may qualify for special offers. Also, just like when you buy anything else, you should shop around for the best bargains that car rental agencies have to offer. Remember, availability of these promotional rates may be limited, so the sooner you call, the more likely your chances are of getting them. Your travel agent can help you look for deals online, and save you from calling number after number.
